How a 6th grade assignment became a family business….

A final project assigned to a 6th grader impacted our entire family. The assignment was to create a product to sell, make it, market then sell it as a profitable business. A tour of the new school made it obvious decorating lockers was a must. The product was named and designed for various interests such as sports, clubs, and of course parent/grandparent pride. As a backup some other small items were created. The class loved them! Even at very low prices, it squeaked out a win over the Oreo pie and this business began as many students still wanted more.

If you’re curious how our online store came about, the short version is school, sports, working and being a teen just didn’t allow enough time to keep up with orders. Next was mostly fund raisers to help the little leagues as styles changed with personalized requests, adding items, filling orders from a small local shop. Unfortunately, life became too busy to maintain the business, so it set idle for a bit.

Now we’ve started our little business online and at local shows. Crafted Seasons products originate from life experience. Check out the variety of clubs, sports, upcycles to home decor, Christmas ornaments, Pet items, various fun new things we are developing. Check back often as new items will be introduced. Here’s a hint: our crew love animals, so pet items are a must! If we don’t see what we want online, a new product is born and here we grow again!
